FUTUR 10 – 10 years of Performance & Film Festival. FUTUR partners, for the second time, with the POOL – MOVEMENT ART FILM Festival.

The festival has a Short Film Program called WHERE WE MOVE, which will include Phill Niblock’s “3 Locations” film, as well 2 films by Elaine Summers (founder of Experimental Intermedia Foundation), on 1 October 2026.
In “Two Girls Downtown Iowa” (1973, USA) and “Iowa Blizzard” (1973, USA), Elaine Summers transforms a chance encounter between two dancers on the street and a playful moment in the snow into authentic dance films, offering a fresh perspective on the everyday and on movement itself. Through movements such as jumping, rolling, and balancing, Dana Reitz explores the haptics, materiality, light, and dynamics of three distinct locations in the film “3 locations” (1974, USA), created in collaboration with Phill Niblock.
